How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 24 years. Jeff Nathan started the firm in 1988 and David Bunker came on line in 1991.
What is your primary product or service?
Home and building inspections. We have a strong reputation for older homes (80+ years. Over the years we have done over 10,000 home inspections and have a very strong and detailed knowledge of construction, HVAC systems, Electrial systems, Plumbing and structure.
We also perform Radon testing and wood destroying insect inspections.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Background in general construction. Built homes in Colorado, electrician for Yellowstone Park.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I believe that we are the most thorough and accurate home inspection company in the area. We provide a very detailed, computer driven report with photographs of problem areas.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, no plans to expand.
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks, Cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American express. We charge a 3% convenience fee for credit cards and we discount 3% for cash.
Which areas do you service?
Chicago, North and West Cook County, Lake county and David will sometimes consent to do the eastern part of McHenry County.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Both Jeff Nathan and David Bunker are owners. We split the daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
8-5, M-F
9-5, Sat
Closed Sunday
