How long have you been in business?
The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce was established in 1923.
What is your primary product or service?
We represent the business communities in Winnetka and Northfield Illinois
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Serving as the Executive Director, with my experience in corporate management and as an owner of two retail shops for 12 years has been beneficial to assisting new and established businesses. Having volunteered for over ten non-profit organizations for over fifteen years working in leadership roles, has also benefitted the non-profit membership.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer five major signature events a year that feature our members and their businesses offering them opportunities to connect with community. We also offer monthly networking meetings for members to connect on a business to business level.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our office is in one location in the Village of Winnetka, serving the villages of Winnetka and Northfield.
