What is your primary product or service?
Dog daycare, dog walking, and over night stays. We also have training, pet photography, and grooming.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
First of all I'm a huge fan of animals! In 1993 I started walking dogs in Chicago's Gold Coast area. The business started growing and I expanded the business by adding daycare services. In 2000 I moved the busienss to the Wicker Park area and opened Wicker Pet. It was at that time I wanted to offer our customers a great alternative to the typical boarding.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We were the first to offer "suites" rather then just crating animals. Also, the dogs are out playing all day with the daycare dogs, making their stay away from home full of fun!

We're located in the heart of Wicker Park/Bucktown area at 2029 W North Avenue. We're close to the North, Milwaukee, and Damen intersection, as well as just a half a block away from the Damen Blue Line stop.
