Established in the Print Industry in 1978.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer Invitations, Graphic Design, and Digital Calligraphy Services for Weddings & All Occasion Events as well as onsite printing for Custom and Standard Designs. We welcome special requests. GiftBandit™ is a trademarked website of Traces of Heaven products. Though our experience began in 1978, one thing remains the same: “We are dedicated to a seamless and flawless end product.” We work closely with each customer with a desire to bring out the personality and style of each event and strive to make it a fun and memorable for you. Many customers have become dear friends and to think it all started with a simple invitation!
We have come to learn that finding the perfect invitation is not so easy. It is a very personal adventure and because of that, we take our job seriously, creating each as if it were our own. We are open BY Appointment and highly recommend using our CONTACT US FORM to set up an appointment form in order to browse our invitation albums or to discuss your event’s invitations. Walk-ins are welcome, however if we are already meeting with a customer we will have to set up a future meeting for you.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Owner: Began typesetting invitations in 1978 and worked our way up in the Art Department and Plate Making back in the 1970's. Worked for a several printers and gained invaluable years of experience with on the job training. Working in tandem with current printers as well as marketing, human resources and desk top publishing, we began to service Corporate Clients. Started our business (part time) from home and worked into full time, serving mainly brides and families now in our brick and mortar design shop. We truly enjoy the design aspect, however customers come our way for standard invitations. We can many price points, helping our customers arrive at their own personal style, within their budget.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our serving and industry experience since 1978 offers a consistent commitment and an extreme level and attention to detail to every order. Offering graphic design background, sales, digital and hand calligraphy as well as wedding/bridal event planning experience. Knowledgeable with offset, thermography, letterpress, engraved invitations with various paper stocks. Our business demands the highest quality controls due to the extremely detailed nature of our business. We strive to meet and exceed our customer's expectations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Opening our design and print studio in September of 2010, we chose Arlington Heights because the owner resides here. We recently re-created our new website from scratch and launched it November 2014 and operate out of one location solely “All Because Two People Fell In Love!

We work by Private Appointment and work best around the customer's schedule. When we are at the Shop, we are either with a customer or working on customer orders. If with a customer we may not be able to receive you best, so it is best to make an appointment. Walkins are welcome to come in and make an appointment. It is best to please call to set up a time to privately serve you! Located NEAR the corner of Evergreen ON Northwest Highway. Look for our Polka Dotted Awning!

IN PERSON: We accept Checks and Cash. Check is preferred payment. ONLINE we accept Visa, MasterCard.
Which areas do you service?
We serve surrounding Chicago and Northwest Suburbs. Specifically we serve Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Wheeling, Park Ridge, Niles, Glenview, Schaumburg, Barrington, Hoffman Estates and as far as Gurnee and Algonquin Illinois. Customers come to us from Wisconsin as well as Indiana!

What are your hours of operation?
Generally we work by Appointment. Please use the Contact Us Form on our website to set up an appointment Monday - Friday between 2:00pm and 8:00 pm. Our last appointments is taken at 8pm, but are FLEXIBLE. Saturdays may be reserved for urgent customer requests. We are closed on Sundays to spend time with our families and as a day of rest for worship.
