How long have you been in business?
Graystar has been in business since 2000. Each of Graystar's principals have been in the constuction business over 25 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Commercial general contractors and construction managers for office buildings, tenant-finish outs, health care, retail, restaurants, industrial facilities and large multi-family projects.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
All three of Graystar's principals have extensive general construction experience and have grown through the concrete, electrical, plumbing and flooring subcontract operations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One of the principals of Graystar stays involved in every project we run from the beginning to final punchlist; running weekly project meetings, consulting with the building / project Owner, and working on your project together with the Owner to make sure your goals are met. Our client satisfaction is evidenced by the fact over 80% of our work is repeat and / or referral business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Graystar's main and only office is in Northbrook, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago. We run projects nationwide from this location - we go where our projects are.

Graystar has three Owners / Officers that are intimately involved in every project and personally run every project we are awarded.
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours are M-F, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, but our projects run 24-7 if needed.
